Brunch Seminar: Who Is Attacking Aalborg?

Who is attacking Aalborg – and how do we best defend ourselves?

We intend to explore this on 17 May at a brunch seminar hosted in collaboration with CrowdStrike. We will be taking a closer look at our adversaries and the best ways to deal with the ever evolving threat landscape.

Cyber criminals, state-sponsored actors, hacktivists and other malicious entities are continuously developing new techniques, tactics, and tools to harm individuals, organizations, and nations. As a consequence of the war in Europe, we have seen a significant increase in cybercrime with Russian actors proving to be particularly active – and their sights are set on Ukraine’s allies.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Aarhus Municipality fends off between 25,000 and 30,000 targeted digital attacks on their IT systems daily. This is not an isolated case. If it happens in Aarhus, it is safe to assume that it also happens in Aalborg – and we know that adversaries do not make distinctions between public entities and private businesses.

So who is attacking us and exactly what do they want to achieve? What can we do to protect ourselves and if things do go awry, what do we do? Join us for brunch on 17 May to find out.

We are looking forward to seeing you.
